Renaissance - Rumford 1000HThe Rumford 1000H comes with a gravity vent system designed to increase efficiency and potentially heat additional rooms. Gravity vents are simply ducts that use hot air’s natural tendency to rise to re-distribute heat. The ducts can be installed in the same room as the fireplace, into an adjacent room or up to 15 feet up to a second floor. There is no power required in order for the gravity vents to operate. We also offer an optional blower that can increase the air flow through the gravity vents. The optional blower boosts efficiency and helps to move warm air throughout the home. |
